LUNCH is a photography-centered events group founded in August 2023. There was a serious lack of creative appetite in the Santa Barbara gallery scene for any photography whatsoever, so LUNCH decided to create a collective that would provide the opportunity to showcase photographers and their work. There is no fee to enter and LUNCH won’t take a percentage of sales, and there are no membership dues. If LUNCH decides to invite a photographer to become a member or have their work featured at an event- they will be contacted privately. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards covering the printing costs of the artists work, though they will have to cover the costs of their frames. Proceeds from auctions and/or raffles will go towards our Film Preservation Fund.

This site will serve as a place for the public to subscribe to the newsletter, check events calendar, and for members to showcase their voice, vision and message, whatever that may be. There is no censorship of any kind here, barring overly explicit, genuinely immoral or lewd sexual content deemed illegal in the eyes of the law and/or inappropriate via a board vote.
